  • When will my order be made?
    When will my order be made? To ensure freshness and the best flavour, your order will be made on the morning of delivery/collection. *Please note, there is a 2-day lead time on personalised orders* --- Delivery We offer delivery Wednesday - Sunday between 11am - 4pm Orders placed before 5pm cut-off Will be baked and ready for delivery the next day (Wednesday - Sunday) (For example, if an order is placed before 5pm on a Thursday, your order will be ready to be delivered on Friday between 11am - 4pm) Orders placed after 5pm cut-off Will be baked and ready for delivery the day after next (next day delivery will not be available) (For example, if an order is placed at 10pm Thursday, the order will be ready to be delivered on Saturday between 11am - 4pm) Sunday Delivery For Sunday delivery, orders must be placed before 5pm cut-off on Saturday.   • How long will my order last?
    Our cakes and bakes are best consumed within 2 days so that they are totally fresh!
  • How should I store my order?
    We recommend keeping your cakes and bakes cool and in an air tight container, if not consumed immediately.
  • Returns and cancellations
    We do not offer refunds (unless in exceptional circumstances) due to the perishable nature of our products. Please take care with placing your order, as we do not offer cancellations.
  • How do I send my order as a gift?
    If you are sending a gift, please make sure to enter the correct details during check-out. The first field is "Email for order confirmation". We recommend that you enter your own email address here, and not the email address of your gift recipient. The order confirmation and subsequent emails will go to this email address. The "Shipping Address" is the delivery address, so you will need to enter the address of your gift recipient. Please ensure there is a house number/name. When you reach the "Payment" step of check-out, underneath the payment options there is "Billing Address" - you will need to un-check the box that says "Same as Shipping Address". Then you will need to enter the correct billing address.
  • The Check-Out process.
    During the check-out process, the first step is "Shipping Details". "Shipping Details" are where you would like the order to be sent to - if you are buying for yourself, enter your preferred address. If you are buying as a gift, make sure to use your recipients address. When entering the address, please make sure to enter the house name/number correctly. The auto-fill on the address finder does not always find all the address details, so we ask you to double check this. The second step is "Delivery Method". Here you can choose between our delivery options, please leave a contact number for delivery. The third step is "Payment". Here you can choose how you would like to pay. If you are sending a gift, during this step you will need to un-check the box underneath "Billing Address" that says "same as Shipping Address". You will then need to put the correct billing address in - not your recipients address. The final step is "Review & Place Order". Please check all details have been entered correctly during this step. Delivery and collection times apply after the parcel has been dispatched.   • What postage options are there?
    For orders within 10 miles there is a £5 delivery charge We also offer free collections (Wednesday - Sunday between 11am-4pm) please see collection details for more information
  • What is the minimum order for delivery?
    £30 minimum
  • Where do you deliver?
    We deliver within a maximum radius of 10 miles of the tearoom, please see delivery options for price of delivery.
  • How much is delivery?
    For deliveries within a 10 mile radius: £5
  • The delivery address is incorrect.
    Please take care when entering your delivery details. During checkout, "Shipping Details" are where you would like the order to be sent to. If you are buying for yourself, please enter your preferred address. Buying as a gift and sending straight to them? Make sure to use your recipients address in “Shipping Details”. Please note that the auto-fill address finder does not always find all the address details. Please ensure that there is a house number/name included. Unfortunately, if your order does not arrive due to the address being incorrect, we cannot replace or refund your order. Please contact us as soon as possible if you have made an error. If we receive your request before the order is dispatched, we will be able to change the address.
  • Can I collect my order?

  • My order is incorrect
    We’re sorry to hear that. In the unlikely event that your order is incorrect, please send a photo and your order number to charlotte@bentyfarmtearooms.co.uk and we will arrange a replacement.
  • I haven't received my order

  • Do I need to be at home to receive my order?
    Yes, we would prefer someone to be able to physically collect the order. However, if this is not possible please leave a note on your order if there is a safe space we can leave the order in.
  • Will my order fit through the letterbox?
    No, our products are not sized to fit through letterboxes.
  • I have multiple orders to make
    If you are sending products to multiple addresses, you must place a new order for each delivery address, as we cannot combine postage.
  • Can I make a custom quantity order?

    We will provide an allergens list with all orders.
  • When can I collect my order?
    Collection We offer collections Wednesday - Sunday between 11am - 4pm Orders placed before 5pm cut-off Will be baked and ready for collection the next day (Wednesday - Sunday) (For example, if an order is placed before 5pm on a Tuesday, your order will be ready to be collected Wednesday between 11am - 4pm) Orders placed after 5pm cut-off Will be baked and ready for collection the day after next (next day collection will not be available) (For example, if an order is placed at 10pm Tuesday, the order will be ready to be collected on Thursday between 11am - 4pm) You will be notified when your order is ready to be collected, please arrive a minimum of 20 minutes before closing time as there is a lane that is a 10 minute walk to reach the tearoom, we do offer large collections to drive through the lane up to the tearoom to collect, please take care of pedestrians when driving as this is usually only accessible by foot.
  • What should I bring when collecting my order?
    Please bring ID or your confirmation email when you collect your order.
  • Is collection free?
    Yes! We do not charge for collection.
  • Where do I collect from?
    Collection is from our tearoom, Benty farm tearooms 3A School Ln, Thurstaston, Birkenhead, Wirral CH61 0HH Directions from School Lane, Thurstaston: Turn into School Lane off Thurstaston Road. Park your vehicle on School Lane. Walk down the farm track, which is on the right-hand side of School Lane, approximately 400m, through the woodland, crossing a cattle grid on your way.
